Where behavior is always an opportunity to learn, and never a reason to exclude.

“Fox and Bear helped us with confidence, with giving my child ideas that became her own and made her feel independent about making decisions. Sarah checked in on her feelings always and made sure her decisions felt like her own. Sarah included me as an ally and never made me feel like ‘the bad guy’ in parenting.”

About Me

I call my practice Fox and Bear Behavioral Care — not behavioral therapy or services — because care is what is at the heart of healing, and care is what I provide.

I have been working as a behavioral therapist for 11 years, and I have had my own company Fox and Bear Behavioral Care for 4 years. I come from an education background as well, and taught early childhood for 6 years before pursuing my career in applied behavioral analysis.

After working for agencies for over 7 years, I completed my course work in the science of applied behavioral analysis and decided to start my own practice in order to meet the parent training and support needs that I saw severely lacking in the clinical setting. I devote myself to using reinforcement, natural opportunities, and the least-invasive intervention techniques to help shape social and communication skills, self-care skills and appropriate behaviors.

Additionally, I devote myself to including parents fully and providing them with feedback, support, 1-on-1 progress meetings, and addressing behavioral challenges that my families face day to day.
